Colors: I love my burgundy reds, but it is time for a complete change. I love the two tones of blue I have in the basement, (slate and ocean blue) so I have pretty much decided to go with that. Ivory might be a nice accent, or chocolate brown, but I don't want to look too trendy. It needs to stand the test of time, 'cuz I do not redecorate very often.
Style: I like a modern, bold, geometric look.
Function: It cannot show cat hair, so I have liked my satiny burgundy quited comforter set. Therefore, my new set cannot be ultra suede or any fabric that animal hair adheres to. It needs to be satiny, without looking cheap.
Cost: I expect to spend $300 or less decorating (looking for sales!). I have plenty of paintings I can relocate and blown glass in blue tones...etc. I need to buy drapes too.
I have searched on a few sites (JC Penny and Kohls comes to mind), but I haven't found exactly what I want. Open to suggestions with links.

I like both photos but I LOVE the first one. Are you just looking for bedding sets right now, or more than that? Have you checked your beloved Home Goods or Ikea? I haven't looked at Ikea for sheets, so I don't know what they have, but it seems they have everything else under the sun!
I am only looking for bedding sets and drapes. I have been in Home Goods, nothing so far...but I did see a fabulous red, brilliantly patterned rug that would look gorgeous somewhere. LOL
By the way, these sets on AMAZON were CHEAP (under $100 or close, I think) and had excellent reviews.
Have not been to IKEA...never thought of them for bedding.
Phase II will be decorating the master bedroom bath. That should be cheap. Only change will be art/decor, a new shower shelf, maybe a new shower head if Bruce will let me. Estimated cost, <$100.
I CANNOT decide!! Some need dry cleaning...but that's not a key deciding factor. Aesthetics is first. grrr. I WILL achieve step one of this goal today!
I took Becky's advice and bought the bedding set; then curtains and decorated bath to match. Bought some accent blown glass in aqua, brown and vanilla. I always missed my lovely burgundy red quilted comforter I bought at Kohls! 2016 time to redecorate!
