This morning as I sit here listening to Valley News Live and getting blasted with new info on internet sites I am subscribed to, I asked myself: "If I created a new "large audience" blog, what would it be about? What am I REALLY interested in?
Well, the answer is not easy. I am interested in pretty much everything. Especially anything new. New technologies, new tips, new discoveries: from 34,000 year-old skeletal remains in the Gobi desert to tips on how to fool your computer from going to sleep (i.e., overcoming your paranoid IT department settings).
It made me think. What about a new blog that just provided 2-3 sentence tidbits with links to weekly NEW discoveries in (5?) key areas:
- TECHNOLOGY
- TRAVEL
- FOOD
- SCIENCE
- MEDICINE
- OTHER
Maybe that is too broad. I am mostly interested in technology. I will keep thinking about this.

Do you read Lifehacker? Because you should, if you don't.
That is all, for now. I will continue to think on this. ;-)
ps. Can you, in your technology findings, figure out why it takes me clicking "Post Comment" 3 times before the word verification will pop up? I have the same problem on Karen's (and anyone else who uses Blogger) site; I choose my Google profile, and then I have to click either "Preview" or "Post Comment" 3 times before it will post/preview.
Hmm, Lifehacker...do you have a link?
Also, I researched folks who had problems posting on Blogger. One recommendation was for the blogger to create a popup for posts instead of the form below the blog. So, I did it....we will see if it makes a difference.
I should have just googled Lifehacker! That looks fascinating, thanks!
By the way Becky, I came back to my site and noticed my last post wasn't showing. I refreshed my screen and voila, there it was. Not aying that is the answer, but today it worked for me.
While researching your issue, I also read that it takes a while for some of the comments to save and show up. Patience, grasshopper.
